- [授業概要]
- ABSTRACT: The idea of high-speed thermofluid dynamics is described. The basic theory of thermodynamics, high-speed gasdynamics of compressible fluids, shock waves and supersonic fluid dynamics, and hypervelocity (hypersonic) gasdynamics with real gas effects are presented. Several novel topics related high-speed thermofluid dynamics will be also introduced.
- [目的・目標]
- TARGET: To grasp the basic theory and idea for high-speed gasdynamics including compressible effects, and real gas effects. This field is strongly related to the mechanical and aerospace fluid dynamics and new energy (cryogenic) fluid dynamics. Furthermore, the perspective view on the novel diagnostic technology for thermofluid dynamics will be obtained through several research topics described in the lecture.

- (11-15): Some research topics for high-speed thermo-fluid dynamics; Shock tunnel and supersonic wind tunnel experiments, Qualitative and quantitiative image diagnostics, Computed Tompgraphy (CT), Schlieren and laser-interferomety, Bacground oriented schlieren (BOS), LIF
